In Loving Memory of Devin King

With profound sadness and heavy hearts, family, friends, and members of the Knoxville community are remembering Devin King, 30, whose life ended following a tragic crash on Maynardville Pike in Knox County, Tennessee, on Friday, July 17.

According to the Tennessee Highway Patrol, the crash happened around 5:17 p.m. in the 8700 block of Maynardville Pike. Investigators said a Jeep Laredo driven by Devin King was reportedly fleeing from troopers when it crossed into the southbound lanes and collided head-on with a Ford Expedition.

Devin was pronounced dead following the crash. Authorities said he was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the collision.
