Family, friends, and members of the Hopkinsville community are mourning the tragic and sudden loss of 55-year-old Tim Crum of Hopkinsville, who died following a devastating crash Tuesday afternoon on U.S. 68 in Gracey, Kentucky.

According to the Christian County Sheriff’s Office, the collision occurred at approximately 1:20 p.m. at the intersection of U.S. 68 and Kentucky 1026 in Gracey. Investigators say Crum was driving a vehicle crossing U.S. 68 when it collided with an eastbound SUV, resulting in a serious impact that forced both vehicles off the roadway.

Emergency responders arrived quickly and provided life-saving efforts at the scene. Crum was given CPR before being transported by Hopkinsville EMS to Jennie Stuart Health. Despite all efforts made by medical personnel, he was later pronounced deceased from his injuries.
