Homicide Arrest Made After Deadly Shooting at Hotel Del Sol

PENSACOLA, Fla. — Authorities have confirmed an arrest in connection with a deadly shooting that left one man dead and another injured at the Hotel Del Sol earlier this week.

Ke’Shawn M. Warren, 23, has been charged with homicide and attempted homicide in connection with the incident. Officials said Warren was booked into the Escambia County Jail around 2 a.m. Thursday following the investigation.

According to the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded on June 10 to reports of a shooting victim on Kenmore Road. When first responders arrived, they located a man suffering from gunshot wounds. He was transported to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased. The victim has been identified as Ranco Darell Jehisan.

A second victim was also located at the hospital with a gunshot wound to the leg and is expected to survive.

Investigators later determined that the shooting took place inside a room at the Hotel Del Sol on Pensacola Boulevard. Authorities said all three individuals were inside the room when the incident occurred.

At this time, investigators say no motive has been established. Detectives continue to work the case, reviewing evidence and gathering statements to determine what led to the deadly encounter.

The case remains active and ongoing as authorities continue their investigation.
