According to the Ada County Coroner’s Office, Jordan was discovered behind West River Street on the Greenbelt and was pronounced dead at approximately 8:41 a.m. His cause of death has not yet been released as investigators continue working to determine the circumstances surrounding his passing.
The Boise Police Department said officers responded around 7:30 a.m. Monday after receiving a report of an unresponsive man on the Greenbelt between Pioneer Pathway and 11th Street. When officers arrived, they found Jordan deceased and immediately secured the area while beginning their investigation.
The discovery led to a temporary closure of part of the Boise Greenbelt as detectives processed the scene and collected evidence. Authorities later confirmed that Jordan’s death is being treated as a homicide investigation.
