The Birmingham community is mourning the heartbreaking loss of Phylicia Cherea Wilson, 38, whose life ended following a tragic single-vehicle crash early Friday morning on Interstate 20.
According to the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office, the crash occurred at approximately 2:03 a.m. on Interstate 20 westbound at the Interstate 59 south interchange. Authorities said Wilson was the driver and sole occupant of the vehicle involved in the collision.
