Authorities in Kitchener, Ontario are continuing to investigate a reported shooting incident that occurred on July 18, 2026, in the area of Courtland Avenue and Hayward Avenue.
According to police, officers responded to a residence after receiving information that a male had suffered injuries as a result of a gunshot wound. When officers arrived, the injured individual had already left the area before police could make contact.
Police have since identified the person they are attempting to locate as Dylan Harrison, 34. Authorities said they have concerns for Harrison’s well-being and are asking anyone with information about his whereabouts or the circumstances surrounding the incident to come forward.
One male has been arrested in connection with the investigation. Police have not released additional details regarding the identity of the arrested individual or the circumstances that led to the reported shooting.
Investigators continue to gather information and are urging members of the public who may have witnessed anything in the area of Courtland Avenue and Hayward Avenue or who may have information about Harrison’s location to contact authorities.
