45-Year-Old Gyrino Stanley Killed in Tragic Hit-and-Run Crash in Twiggs County, Georgia

TWIGGS COUNTY, Ga. — Authorities are asking for the public’s assistance after a fatal hit-and-run crash claimed the life of a 45-year-old man early Sunday morning.

According to the Twiggs County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to the 400 block of Cary Road at approximately 3 a.m. after reports of a pedestrian being struck by a vehicle. The victim was identified as Gyrino Stanley, who was fatally injured after being hit by a vehicle.

Officials said the driver involved left the scene following the crash without stopping. Stanley was pronounced dead after the collision.

The Twiggs County Sheriff’s Office and the Georgia State Patrol are investigating the incident as authorities work to determine the circumstances surrounding the crash and identify the driver responsible.
