Monroeville Man Christopher O. Hill, 35, Killed in Head-On Crash in Monroe County

The Monroeville community is grieving the loss of Christopher O. Hill, 35, who died following a two-vehicle crash Sunday morning in Monroe County, Alabama.

According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA), the crash happened around 7:30 a.m. on Alabama 265 near the 1-mile marker, approximately one mile north of Beatrice.

Investigators said Hill was driving a 2010 Ford Crown Victoria when the vehicle was involved in a head-on collision with a 2009 Chevrolet Tahoe driven by Joshua Williams, 60, of Camden.

Emergency responders arrived at the scene, where Christopher Hill was pronounced deceased. The crash is being investigated by troopers with ALEA’s Highway Patrol Division as authorities work to determine the circumstances that led to the collision.
