A Hillsboro woman and respected local real estate professional has died following a serious crash in Clermont County Saturday afternoon, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
Troopers responded to U.S. State Route 50 near the Smokey Road intersection in Jackson Township at approximately 3:55 p.m. after receiving reports of a crash.
According to investigators, 18-year-old Conner S. Hodge of Mt. Orab was driving a 2017 Toyota Corolla northeast on U.S. Route 50 when the vehicle traveled left of center and collided head-on with a 2018 Nissan Frontier traveling southwest. The Nissan Frontier was driven by 56-year-old Kimberly A. Boyer of Hillsboro.
Authorities said Boyer was transported to a local hospital after the crash but was later pronounced dead from injuries sustained in the collision.
Hodge was also transported to a hospital with serious injuries. Two juvenile passengers in the Nissan Frontier suffered injuries and were taken to local hospitals for treatment.
Boyer was the Broker/Owner of Boyer Territory, a real estate company located in Hillsboro, Ohio, and a valued member of the Southern Ohio Association of REALTORS®.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol continues to investigate the crash as authorities work to determine the circumstances that led to the fatal collision. All details released remain preliminary.
