With profound sadness, family, friends, and members of the Kansas City community are grieving the heartbreaking loss of Salvador Martinez Colin, 50, whose life ended following a tragic single-vehicle rollover crash on Interstate 635 near Metropolitan Avenue in Kansas City, Missouri, early Monday morning.
Salvador’s unexpected passing has left a deep void among those who knew and loved him. He will be remembered for the moments he shared with his family, friends, and loved ones, as well as the memories that will continue to remain in their hearts.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, the crash happened around 2:45 a.m. Monday. Authorities said Salvador was traveling southbound on I-635 in a 2014 Dodge Ram pickup truck when the vehicle entered the exit lane for Metropolitan Avenue.
The preliminary investigation found that the pickup traveled through a grassy area, went airborne over the ramp, rolled multiple times, and came to rest on its roof. Salvador was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities reported that he was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
