Wyatt Fisher, 18, Firefighter Killed in Off-Duty Motorcycle Crash in Clermont County

An 18-year-old firefighter from Blanchester, Ohio, has died following an off-duty motorcycle crash Monday in Clermont County, leaving family, friends, and the communities he served mourning the loss of a young life dedicated to helping others.

The victim was identified as Wyatt Fisher, 18, a firefighter with the Stonelick Township Fire Department and a cadet with Wayne Township Fire and EMS.

According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, troopers responded around 12:20 p.m. Monday to a crash on State Route 131 near Dry Run Road. Investigators said a preliminary investigation found that Fisher was traveling eastbound on a motorcycle when he struck the rear of a 2017 Ford Escape that had slowed in traffic.

The impact caused the motorcycle to cross left of center and collide with a Volkswagen Routan that was stopped in traffic in the westbound lanes of the roadway.

Fisher was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment but later died from the injuries he sustained in the crash.

The Stonelick Township Fire Department shared a statement honoring Fisher’s life and service, saying his unexpected passing has left a tremendous void within the department and the community he proudly served.

“Wyatt exemplified what it meant to serve others,” the department said. “Whether answering emergency calls, supporting his fellow firefighters, or lending a helping hand whenever it was needed, he carried himself with compassion, humility, and dedication.”

Beyond his work in the fire service, Fisher was known as a dedicated member of his school community. He was a graduate of Clermont Northeastern Schools and had recently become an assistant coach for the boys soccer team.

The school district remembered Fisher as a young man whose passion for service, leadership, and character made a lasting impact on students, athletes, and the entire community.

Wyatt’s death has left a deep sadness among his fellow firefighters, classmates, teammates, friends, and loved ones. Those who knew him are remembering his commitment to serving others, his kindness, and the positive influence he had on the lives around him.

During this difficult time, condolences are extended to Wyatt Fisher’s family, friends, fellow firefighters, and everyone affected by this heartbreaking loss. His dedication to helping others will continue to be remembered, and his legacy of service will live on.

May Wyatt Fisher rest in eternal peace.
