A two-vessel crash Saturday night in Baldwin County, Alabama, left one woman dead and several others injured, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA).
The crash happened at approximately 8:10 p.m. on July 18, 2026, in the Intra-Coastal Waterway near Wolf Bay, authorities said.
Investigators said Kristin Delaney, 46, of Mobile, was a passenger on a 27-foot 2024 Albury Brothers vessel when it collided with a 23-foot 2013 Key West vessel operated by Cameron Neil, 32, of Houma, Louisiana.
Delaney suffered critical injuries in the collision and was transported to South Baldwin Hospital, where she was later pronounced deceased.
ALEA said another passenger on the Albury Brothers vessel, Brooks Delaney, 51, of Fairhope, was injured and taken to Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola for treatment. The vessel’s operator was identified as Drew Delaney, 49, of Mobile. Authorities said eight people, including the operator, were aboard that vessel at the time of the crash.
The Key West vessel operator, Cameron Neil, was also injured and transported to Sacred Heart Hospital. ALEA identified the injured passengers aboard that vessel as Talyn Faulkner, 25, of Raceland, Louisiana; John Lyle, 28, of Houma, Louisiana; and Rayford Reeves, 34, of Schriever, Louisiana. Eight people were aboard the Key West vessel, including the operator.
Authorities said those involved who were not injured, along with both vessels, were transported to The Wharf docks in Orange Beach.
The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s Marine Patrol Division continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash. No additional information has been released at this time.
